Like the young sprout unfolding, touched by the first dewdrop in spring, Ankur started from a small initiative and has grown into a vibrant community — bringing the Bengalis of Sacramento and Northern California under one shade.
We are a registered Non-Profit under section 501(c)(3), recognized by local city administration, tirelessly engaging in social, cultural, developmental, and fun activities throughout the year.

The festival is called 'Noboborsho' or 'Borsho Boron Utshab'. It marks the first day of the Bengali calender's first month.
Rabindranath Tagore's birthday, a cultural festival prevalent among Tagorephiles.
Outdoor meal, friends, food, laughter, games, nature, relaxation: The perfect weekend.
Three days in the great outdoors — bonfires, games, and community bonding under the stars.
Fun-filled event promoting physical activity, teamwork, and competition.
Our grandest celebration — three days of puja rituals, cultural performances, and community feasting.
Honoring the dedicated volunteers who make our community events possible — an evening of gratitude and celebration.
A glimpse into our vibrant events, festivals, and community gatherings over the years.
